We are an Approved Training School.  The CBT and Direct Access courses are governed by the Driving Standards Agency, who regularly monitor our training standards.  www.dsa.gov.co.uk

Here are some frequently asked questions to help you:

• Do we specialise in advanced training, or do mostly CBT and Direct Access training?   We specialise in all training training, from CBT through to Advanced Courses
  
  CBT trainees should get a minimum of 2 hours on road training  Yes ALL CBT course have a minimum of at least 2-hours roadwork
  
  Is insurance provided?   Yes insurance is provided on all our bikes. Third Party, fire and theft. We also have Public Liability.
  
  Is protective clothing provided?   Yes we provided use of clothing free of charge: Helmets, Jackets, Gloves and waterproofs
  
  What is the pass rate for the centre?   Our pass rate on full motorcycle test is approx 85% first time
  
  What is the student to Instructor ratio?   Maximum of two students to one Instructor on all our courses 
  
  Do they use training logbooks to monitor your progress?   Yes we have our own logbooks to record and monitor your progress
  
  How many actual road based training miles are you likely to  cover vs how many classroom hours?   We always do a de-brief before the start of every lesson and one at the end covering, the logbook and show me tell me questions s and pillion questions. Lesson of a 3-hours duration would give you at least two and a half  spent on the road.
  
  Do we use Intercoms?   Yes we always use intercoms, unless someone is hard of hearing.
  
  What qualifications do the instructors hold?   The minimum qualification is CBT, other instructors also hold: DAS, Post test motorcycle trainer, ERS, RoSPA Diploma, RoSPA Gold and IAM
  
  Do we have structured lesson plans, or is it less formal?   All lessons are structure on what the customer requires
  
  How much will it cost and how much time do you get for your money? That’s a question a lot of people ask and understandably so.. It’s difficult to say a bull-part figure as everyone is different.  We have a better idea once CBT is done or call for a chat on your experience and we can offer a free assessment to help us advise you and structure a course for you.
